During an internet outage, antenna viewing can continue while your TV and any powered reception equipment have electricity, the broadcaster is transmitting and reception is available. It is not a guarantee of viewing during a power outage or emergency.

Do I need a new antenna if my picture breaks up?
Not necessarily. The fault may be in the amplifier, cabling, connectors, splitters or wall outlet. Signal testing helps establish whether repair, realignment or replacement is appropriate.
Can you help with difficult reception in the Hinterland?
Yes. We assess the signal and possible mounting positions at the property. Terrain and the surrounding environment can affect the options, so recommendations are based on the site rather than a standard package.
Do OptiComm homes need a separate TV antenna?
A home that no longer receives network-delivered free-to-air TV may need a dedicated digital antenna. We check the existing TV cabling and available signal before recommending the installation.
Can one antenna serve several televisions?
A suitably designed system can feed multiple TV outlets. Cable runs, splitting losses and measured signal levels determine how the distribution system should be configured.
What affects the antenna installation quote?
Roof access, mounting requirements, available signal, cable condition, outlet count and any amplification affect the work involved. Tell us your suburb, the number of televisions and any current reception problems.
Can I use a TV antenna and streaming on the same television?
Yes, on a compatible television. An antenna provides broadcast channels, while internet-connected apps provide streaming and catch-up viewing. Many broadcaster apps are free; other streaming services charge a subscription. We can help connect and set up suitable equipment so you can use both.
Can I watch antenna TV during an internet outage?
Antenna-delivered television does not require an internet connection. It can continue during an internet outage if the TV and any powered reception equipment have electricity, the broadcaster is transmitting and reception is available. An antenna does not guarantee viewing during a power outage or emergency.
